Rowoon may be appearing in a new historical drama!
On June 28, Xportsnews reported that Rowoon is in talks to star as the male lead for the new drama “Takryu” (romanized title).
In response to the report, Rowoon’s agency FNC Entertainment stated, “[‘Takryu’] is one of the projects that he is reviewing [the offer for].”
“Takryu” is the second historical drama by writer Cheon Sung Il who led the success of ”The Slave Hunters.” The drama will tell the story of a man who starts out as a gangster at Han River’s Mapo Port, the hub of logistics and economy in Joseon Dynasty, becoming a legend of Joseon solely with his body.
Rowoon is currently in talks for another historical drama “Wedding Match” (working title). The actor is also gearing up for his upcoming drama “Destined with You” with Jo Bo Ah.
