Stree, a 2018 horror comedy film starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, received many positive reviews from critics and viewers equally. The film is a huge hit that transformed the Bollywood horror-comedy genre. Since then, the Amar Kaushik-directed movie’s sequel has been eagerly anticipated by fans. The beginning of the ‘Stree 2’ shoot has been officially announced by its makers and stars, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor.
Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurrana, and Abhishek Banerjee once again collaborate on the Amar Kaushik-directed film from Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan. Many other new surprises are also promised in the sequel. The anticipation is predicted to reach a fever pitch now that filming has begun. The official teaser for Stree 2 was released by Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, announcing the start of filming. The trailer also clarifies that the movie will hit theatres in August next year.
The teaser opens with the words “O stree kal aana- 2018” inscribed in red on a wall. After then, the line changes to “O Stree, raksha karna- 2024.” Soon as Rajkummar released the teaser, Bhumi Pednekar expressed her excitement for the movie. In the meantime, Huma Qureshi added fire emojis to his post.
