New Delhi:
Bigg Boss OTT 2 is getting interesting with each passing day. All eyes were on actress Jiya Shankar when she took charge as the captain of the house. Oh, and, it didn’t go as planned. Jiya, on day 1 as captain, got into an argument with co-contestant, social media influencer Manisha Rani. Jiya wasn’t happy that Manisha was sleeping in the lounge area. Jiya asked Manisha to arrange her things and move to the bedroom area. In her defence, Manisha explained that she cannot sleep in the room due to the AC. Well, Jiya was not ready to buy it and asked her to talk to Bigg Boss about her request. Later, during a ration task, the actress even sent Manisha to “jail” for breaking the rules.
Jiya Shankar said, “Bigg Boss had never told anyone to sleep anywhere in the house. This is my rule and I am telling you [Manisha Rani]. If you fall ill again, tell Bigg Boss. I don’t have any issue if Bigg Boss allows it.”
Supporting Manisha Rani, contestant Abhishek Malhan said, “You cannot pull up someone because of their health issue. This is not right Jiya”. Echoing a similar sentiment, Bebika Dhruve added, “I have witnessed how AC affects Manisha’s health. You are wrong here, Jiya.”
Jiya Shankar then picked a past incident and said, “Why did you sleep on Jad Hadid’s bed that day, you should have slept outside.” To this, Abhishek Malhan clarified, “That day, all of them wanted Jad outside that is why she had adjusted for one day.”
Then Manisha Rani requested Jiya Shankar to keep her away from the game plan. “If you want to prove that you are a good captain then you have the whole week to do that please spare me from this,” she said.
Later in the day, Bigg Boss gave Jiya Shankar a ration task where she was asked to divide the food supplies into seven baskets and rank all the contestants according to their rule break chart. It was not at all surprising when Jia sent Manisha Rani to jail for breaking the house rules. Bigg Boss also asked Jiya multiple times if she wanted to leave the captaincy as she was continuously changing the task rules, according to her preferences.
