Bigg Boss OTT 2: No Points For Guessing Who Alia Bhatt’s Favourite Contestant Is

Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is finally here. The Karan Johar film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. Recently, at one of the promotional events, Alia revealed the name of her favourite Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant. Before you start guessing, it isn’t Pooja Bhatt. Alia said that Elvish Yadav is her favourite. She said, “Elvish mujhe bohot naughty lagte hai. Unka jaisa woh andaaz hai, jaise woh bolta hai system hai [Elvish is naughty, he has a certain way of doing things], it’s entertaining. He wins hearts. He is very funny. I like him a lot.”  She said Elvish and Manisha Rani are the Rocky and Rani of the Bigg Boss house. For Manisha, Alia said, “Manisha Rani ko hum Rani bulate hai kyunki uske naam me Rani bhi hai. Unki jodi kafi cute lagti hai. [Let’s call Manisha Rani as Rani. And, the two of them [Elvish and Manisha] look cute together].”

Alia Bhatt’s special message for her sister Pooja Bhatt was pure love. She said, “But I have to take my sister’s [Pooja Bhatt] name kyunki vo to humari ghar parivar ki Rani hai [because she is the queen of our house]. The way she is.” For context, Pooja and Rahul Bhatt are Mahesh Bhatt’s children with his first wife Kiran, while Alia and Shaheen Bhatt are the filmmaker’s daughters with actress Soni Razdan.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks Karan Johar’s directorial comeback after seven years. As per the makers, the film is an “epic love story in a new-age era, topped with hearty laughs and posing questions about love, family and the meaning of breaking away from generations of family traditions in the name of love.” 

After Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Gal Gadot’s Heart Of Stone. The Tom Harper film will mark Alia’s Hollywood debut. Jamie Dornan is also part of the film.
