Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant Jiya Shankar, in the latest episode, opened up about her “broken family” to housemate Abhishek Malhan. It all started after Jiya nominated her close friend Avinash Sachdeva during a task. When Abhishek tried to make her understand that what she did was wrong, the TV actress said that she wanted to play the game for herself. Talking about her family, Jiya added, “Nobody has lived the life that I have. I don’t have a dad and it’s not easy to live with a single mom. I have no male in my family, not even a brother. It’s just me and my mom. Things related to Jad affect me because he calls himself my father figure which he isn’t.”
After listening to Jiya Shankar, Abhishek Malhan said that the actress took the “right call as an individual”. He added, “But from a friendship point of view both Avinash Sachdeva and Jad Hadid trusted you a lot.”
Jad Hadid also shared his thoughts on the matter. The Dubai-based model said he will never forgive Jiya Shankar. “This isn’t something I expected of her as we share a great bond. She didn’t only betray me but also questioned my fatherhood responsibilities. She is a snake and I’ll never forgive her ever,” he said.
Avinash Sachdev, who was upset after the nomination task, added, “This is so unexpected. Tell me what have I not done for her. I know that she is a very emotional person and I’ve done everything according to her.”

Meanwhile, reports claimed that Pooja Bhatt will leave the show on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. As per a source, Pooja Bhatt’s “contract was only for six weeks.” A tweet, shared by Bigg Boss Tak, read, “According to a source, Pooja Bhatt ji has a contract of only 6 weeks and she may exit the show this weekend due to her prior commitments.” The source added that actress Alia Bhatt “might make an appearance during this Weekend Ka Vaar to promote her film [Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani] and possibly take her sister, Pooja [Bhatt], out of the show. That is why she is seen often entering the confession room, maybe for negotiating and discussions on the contract.”
