KBS Song Festival Responds To Reports Of This Year’s Show Being Held In Both Japan And Korea

-

KBS has briefly addressed reports that the upcoming 2023 KBS Song Festival will be held in both Japan and Korea.

Back in June, Star News reported that KBS would be holding its annual year-end music show in Saitama, Japan on December 9, marking the first time that the event would be held abroad. However, KBS clarified at the time that nothing had yet been confirmed.

On August 1, Star News published a new report claiming that KBS now planned to hold its music festival over two separate nights this year. According to the report, the 2023 KBS Song Festival will be held on December 9 in Japan and on December 16 in Korea. As previously reported, the Japan show is said to be taking place at the Belluna Dome in Saitama, while the venue for the show in Korea has not yet been decided.

Star News also reported that while the two shows would be filmed a week apart, KBS was not planning to air them live, so the broadcast dates for the year-end music festival had not yet been decided either.

However, later that day, KBS once again responded to the reports by stating, “Nothing has yet been decided [in regards to the 2023 KBS Song Festival].”

Stay tuned for further updates on this year’s show!
