BLACKPINK Lisa‘s latest show announcements have sent the internet into meltdown!
Since debuting, Lisa has cemented herself as one of the top dancers in K-Pop and has showcased her skills in so many styles and genres of music and dance.
Lisa will soon be able to showcase that talent in a much different way when she takes on a very new challenge.
At the start of the year, BLINKs were confused when Lisa shared that she had visited the iconic “Crazy Horse Cabaret” in Paris. While known to fans of cabaret and musical theater, it was an unusual choice of venue for a K-Pop idol.
Well, it seems as if everything makes sense now.
On September 6, Lisa got fans excited when she seemingly teased why she was at the iconic venue on her last visit, and many BLINKs guessed that the idol was going to be doing special shows.
Not long after Lisa’s post, it was announced that Lisa would be playing five shows at the stunning venue, where she would be performing some classic cabaret style songs that showcase the idol’s true stage presence in one of the most historic places.
As soon as the venue and shows were announced, fans found videos of the location, and although it might seem small, it has held performances by some of the biggest stars in the world.
When the announcement was posted, BLINKs couldn’t hide their excitement for many reasons. Not only were they so excited for Lisa to showcase her diversity and talent through a unique form of entertainment that can be dramatic, sexy, and confident…
Cabaret is a form of art. It’s a theatrical entertainment that involves singing integrated with different types of dances. In order to perform in a cabaret, one not only can sing and dance but also has to be good in connecting with the audience. Lisa have all of these factors.

But they loved that Lisa was making history by being the first K-Pop idol to be invited to perform at the iconic venue, and she was joining a list of powerful and iconic women.

Although the website says that photography is prohibited, hopefully, Lisa will find a way for global BLINKs to watch the shows because it will truly be an unforgettable time for fans.
