Simon Cowell’s firm has issued a response to an obvious dig on Jade Thirlwall’s debut single.
Last week, the previous Little Mix singer unveiled her first-ever solo offering, “Angel Of My Dreams”, which she has described as her private “love/hate letter to the music industry”.
While selling the one, Jade has stated her tune is meant to signify the highs and lows she’s skilled throughout her 13 years within the public eye.
One lyric particularly, “offered my soul to a psycho”, has been interpreted by many as a jab at Simon Cowell, whose now-defunct file label, Syco, she and her bandmates had been signed to for nearly a decade after profitable The X Factor in 2011.
Responding to the lyric, a consultant for Simon Cowell’s entertainment firm informed the Daily Mail: “The whole group who labored extremely laborious behind the scenes with Little Mix to assist make the group successful would, I’m positive, at all times proceed to want them solo success.”
