Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in a tweet on Friday, slammed studies claiming that he helps the ban on movies “which damage the viewers or their sentiments.” His tweet arrived after just a few media publications claimed that the actor, in an interview, spoke in favour of the demand for a ban on Sudipto Sen-directed The Kerala Story. Nawazuddin, in his assertion, had not named the movie nor mentioned it in any manner. “Please cease spreading false news simply to get some views and hits, it is referred to as low cost TRP – I by no means stated and I might by no means need any movie to be banned ever. Stop Banning Films. Stop Spreading Fake News!!! (sic),” tweeted the actor this morning.

Nothing on this world deserves to be banned. But if a movie has the facility to interrupt folks and social concord, it is extraordinarily fallacious. Humein iss duniya ko jodna hai, todna nahi hai (we have now to construct this world, not break it).” He had not made any reference to The Kerala Story.  Anurag Kashyap has directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Gangs Of Wasseypur movies.
