Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are tremendous busy with the promotion campaigns ofZara Hatke Zara Bachke. Ahead of the movie’s launch, director Laxman Utekar revealed why he didn’t forged Katrina Kaif reverse her husband within the movie. In an interview with PeepingMoon, Laxman Utekar shared that Katrina’s “persona and aura” do not match the outline of a small-town lady, which was the requirement for the movie. When requested if he’s planning to direct the couple in a movie collectively, the filmmaker laughed and replied: “Meri language Katrina ko samajh aayegi tabhi kar paunga (provided that she understands my language).” He then added hilariously, “Aapko lagta hai Katrina kabhi small city ki heroine lagegi (do you suppose Katrina Kaif will ever appear to be a small-town heroine)?”
Laxman Utekar went on to clarify why Katrina Kaif wasn’t a more sensible choice for the position of a “middle-class joint household’s daughter-in-law” in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. He mentioned: “If we get script, I’d like to work with Vicky [Kaushal] and Katrina [Kaif]. I could not get them onboard this time as a result of Zara Hatke Zara Bachke is in a distinct area and I really feel Katrina ka jo aura hai and persona hai, mujhe personally laga nahi ki woh ek middle-class joint household ki bahu lag sakti hai [I feel that the aura and personality that Katrina Kaif has, she will never look like a daughter-in-law of a middle-class joint family].”
The director added that he would undoubtedly deliver the couple collectively onscreen “agar future mein aisa kuch banega joh unko go well with karega [if he has a project that would suit Katrina Kaif’s personality].”
