Poonam Pandey has departed from us. Her official Instagram account posted a post first revealing the news of her passing. The post said, “This morning is a tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared.” Everyone is shocked by the news.
Poonam Pandey was a famous popular model-actor. Before the 2011 Cricket World Cup final, she sent a video message promising that she would strip off if India won. This promise boosted her popularity upwards. She had never drawn attention to herself on any social media platform before with her bold remark.
Regarding her career, Poonam last featured in the first season of Lock Upp, which Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut hosted. Despite not winning the competition, she did grow her fan base.
Poonam and Sam Bombay were also briefly married. Everyone was taken surprised by the wedding. They frequently posted images and videos to social media. The marriage, however, did not survive. Soon after their 2020 wedding, she accused him of domestic abuse.
