Om Raut’s Adipurush launched in theatres on Friday and the movie’s stars Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon watched the movie with their respective households. Saif Ali Khan, who performs the antagonist Lankesh within the movie, watched the movie together with his sons Ibrahim Ali Khan and Taimur. Meanwhile, Kriti Sanon, who stars as Janaki within the movie, was pictured on the movie theatre along with her sister Nupur and her mother and father. Saif Ali Khan greeted the paparazzi with a smile on the screening. Kriti Sanon posed along with her household on the screening.

Kriti Sanon was accompanied by her household too.
Adipurush opened to largely average reviews from film critics. In his evaluate for NDTV, movie critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the movie 1.5 stars out of 5 and he wrote, “Adipurush is a component Planet of the Apes, half King Kong, and half all of the Hollywood superhero movies that the director and his ilk have been weaned on. It presents Lord Rama (Prabhas) as a comic book e book hero with a bow and a quiver that by no means runs out of arrows, Sita (Kriti Sanon) as a whimpering damsel in misery, Ravana as a cross between Thanos and Voldemort, and Bajrang/Hanuman (Devdatta Nage) as a mighty acrobat barely conscious of his unbelievable powers till someone reminds him that he can leap throughout a sea.”
