A new poster for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie, OMG 2, has been released. It provides a more detailed and precise view of Akshay’s appearance as Lord Shiva. The actor released the poster to start the countdown to the release of the teaser, which he promised would happen soon. The movie will premiere on August 11 in theatres.
Akshay shared the new poster on Instagram and stated, “Bas kuch dino mein (coming in few days) OMG 2 in theatres on August 11. Teaser drops soon.” Akshay is on the poster sporting a wig and the blue paint representing Lord Shiva around his neck. Additionally, his forehead is covered in ash, and his eyes are kohled.
The film will focus on topics like exam pressure and college admissions and be based on the Indian educational system. Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi are featured in the movie OMG 2, written and helmed by Amit Rai. The film OMG 2 is a sequel to the original, which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Akshay had played the role of Lord Krishna in the first movie.
The movie OMG 2 will compete in theatres with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel’s forthcoming Gadar 2. It previously clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and films starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Ananya Panday, including Dream Girl 2. Jawan will now be released in September, Dream Girl on August 25, and Animal in December.
