Ahead of the finale week of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Jad Hadid and Avinash Sachdev were evicted from the house. The double eviction took place in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode on Sunday. Host Salman Khan announced the decision and congratulated Jad and Avinash for their performances on the show. Apart from Avinash and Jad, Jiya Shankar and Manisha Rani were also nominated this week. After Salman Khan announced Jad and Avinash‘s eviction, Jiya, who once shared a great bond with Avinash, apologised to the actor for nominating him last week. She said, “I know I made you feel betrayed last week after I nominated you but you really are my friend. I am sorry and I hope we can fix this after the show.” Avinash then hugged Jiya and replied, “We have our whole life to solve it. You did what you had to, now it’s okay.”
Jad Hadid, who is a Dubai-based model, expressed his gratitude to his co-contestants for the memorable journey inside the house. “I had a great journey, I hope to meet Pooja [Bhatt] and Bebika [Dhurve] outside the show,” he said.
Ahead of the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, in a promo released by the makers of Bigg Boss OTT 2 on Instagram, Salman Khan revealed, “Aap sab ko kya lagta hai ki finale tak pahunchna bahoot asaan hoga? Finale ke itne paas aakar aaj hoga double elimination. [Did you guys think that entering into the finale is easy? After coming so close to the finale, today there will be double elimination].”
The Weekend Ka Vaar episode was also attended by rapper Raftaar, and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma along with the star cast of their upcoming web series Bajao.

Abhishek Malhan has already made it to the final, after defeating Pooja Bhatt in the captaincy task. After the double eviction, the contestants who made it to the finale week are Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, Bebika Dhurve, Jiya Shankar, and Elvish Yadav.
The grand finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 is slated to take place on August 13.
