Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is making all the right noises. The Karan Johar film, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, has ticked all the boxes. It won’t be wrong to say that the film is a complete entertainer. Fans and critics have been showering love on Karan Johar and team Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Now, a video of Deepika Padukone leaving Karan Johar’s Mumbai home after the film’s bash has surfaced online. The actress, who didn’t attend the screening in Mumbai on Thursday, looked stunning in a printed green shirt and denim. In the video, Deepika and Ranveer are busy chatting and laughing. Ranveer looks uber cool in a round-neck T-shirt and pants.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on July 28. Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra are also part of the film. On the day of release, Ranveer Singh shared a video of the song Dhindhora Baje Re and wrote, “Rebels in love Revel in love!”
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has collected 11.10 crore on Day 1 at the box office. Karan Johar shared the news on Instagram Stories with a poster featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
Karan Johar also dropped a special video on the release day for all his fans on Instagram. In the side note, he said, “Our film is now yours.”
In his review for NDTV, film critic Saibal Chatterjee said, “ Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani hinges on a pulpy Punjabi-Bengali culture clash that serves as a means to explore the ups and downs of relationships, the often-crushing pressures of family ties and the shackles of gender roles in a changed world.”
