Dharmendra has marked Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘s release date with a throwback picture. The veteran actor has shared a still of himself and Alia Bhatt from the sets of the movie. In the pic, the two are looking at an iPad. Dharmendra has also written a special note for filmmaker Karan Johar. He wrote, “Karan [Johar], jab [camera emoji] bhi aayega…Johar pe Johar…Dikha ke jayega.” Dharmendra has also added folded hand emoji to the post. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks KJo’s return as a director after seven years. His last film was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi are also part of the film. Karan Johar has also shared a video to celebrate the release of his much-loved project. As per the video, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a “movie to watch for family, love, emotion, laughs, groove and drama.” Karan Johar’s caption read, “Our film is now yours.” Replying to the post, Karan Johar’s BFF Kajol wrote, “Faaaaab …. Must watch.” Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar dropped a firecracker emoji under the post.
The makers of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani organised a special screening in Mumbai on Thursday for Bollywood stars. From Kajol to Vicky Kaushal, celebrities made a beeline to watch the Karan Johar film. In his review, Vicky Kaushal gave a shout out to KJo and the cast of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He said, “Loved every bit of it. Hardcore big screen family entertainer! Take your loved ones…don’t miss it. Karan Johar, you are a true master. Tremendous, tremendous performances by Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh and what a joy to watch the veterans Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi on screen. Big shout out to the entire ensemble and writers.”
Namit Das, Tota Roy Choudhury, Aamir Bashir, Churni Ganguly, Kshitee Jog and Anjali Anand are also part of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
