If Hollywood movies have been made in Hindi, Irrfan Khan would have gotten an Oscar, author Sutapa Sikdar would usually inform her actor husband, as she believed English language was a “barrier” for him within the West.
Sutapa in an interview with journalist-author Shubhra Gupta, revealed in Pan Macmillan India’s upcoming ebook, “Irrfan: Life in Movies”, mentioned the long-lasting actor took some time to get comfy with the English language.
