Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s sports drama Maidaan stars Ajay Devgn as Syed Abdul Rahim, the architect of modern Indian football. This upcoming film is based on the golden era of Indian football, defined as 1952–1962.
In addition to Ajay Devgn, Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and Bengali actor Rudranil Ghosh are part of Maidaan’s cast.
