Mira Rajput’s Hot Take On Barbie: “Hollywood This… Hollywood That”

Mira Rajput went to watch the global smash hit Barbie on Monday and she shared her views about one aspect of the film on her Instagram stories. She posted a still of Barbie and Ken (Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling) from the giant blowout party with other Barbies and Kens (read Dua Lipa’s song Dance the Night) and she wrote, “Hollywood this… Hollywood that. Well Hollywood can’t do song-and-dance like Bollywood can.” Well, in Mira’s defense, her husband Shahid Kapoor has been a part of some of biggest dance numbers in the Hindi film industry. Shaam Shaandaar, Mauja Hi Mauja, Nagada Nagada, Dhatting Naach, Gustakh Dil Tere Liye and Ae Pappi are just a few of them.

Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in July in 2015. Their daughter Misha was born a year later in August. Shahid and Mira are also parents to a son named Zain, who they welcomed in the year 2018.

Shahid Kapoor is best-known for his performances in films such as Udta Punjab, Haider, Jab We Met, “Padmaavat” and Ishq Vishk and the 2019 hit Kabir Singh, co-starring Kiara Advani, to name a few. Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Bloody Daddy, which released on Jio Cinema. He also featured in Raj and DK’s crime thriller series Farzi earlier this year. Before that, he featured in the sports drama Jersey, in which he played the role of a cricketer. The original film was made in Telugu and it starred Nani in the lead role. The actor will also be seen in an untitled romantic film with Kriti Sanon.
