Mouni Roy, on Instagram, has shared that she is back home after spending nine days in the hospital. While she did not go into details about her medical condition and the reason for hospitalisation, Mouni Roy shared that she is “recovering slowly but very well”. Mouni Roy posted a bunch of pictures that include selfies with her husband Suraj Nambiar and brother as well images of her at the hospital. In the photos clicked at the hospital, we only see Mouni Roy’s hands, with a cannula in one of them. She appears to be holding Suraj’s hand in the pictures. We also get to see a glimpse of the couple’s pet dog in the carousel.
Sharing the photos, Mouni Roy said, “9 days in a hospital & I’m overwhelmed by a stillness deeper than anything I have ever known. Happy to report I’m back home and recovering slowly but very well. A happy healthy life over err’ything. A big thank you to my loveliest friends who spent their precious time taking care of me, sent me wishes & love. ILY guys. P.S: Suraj Nambiar – There’s No one like you. I’m forever grateful. Om Namah Shivaay.”
In response, Mouni Roy’s BFF Disha Patani said, “Take care,” and Nia Sharma commented, “Wishing you a speedy recovery.” Mrunal Thakur wrote, “What baby why??? You ok? Get well soon my doll.” Adaa Khan said, “Pls get well soon …. Take care. Sending u lots of love and prayers.” Arjun Bijlani dropped heart emojis, and Karan Tacker asked, “Yo! All good.”
A few weeks ago, Mouni Roy also showered love on her husband Suraj Nambiar after winning the IIFA award for her performance in Brahmastra. Sharing an image in which Suraj is kissing her on the cheek as she holds on to the award, Mouni Roy said, “Holding the most prestigious award with the joy and light of my life. Thank you @iifa family for this incredible honour. Junoon is humbled.”
To this, Suraj Nambiar said, “Both holding our respective awards/ Well deserved is an understatement. Onwards and upwards!”
On the work front, Mouni Roy will be seen next in The Virgin Tree, alongside Sanjay Dutt, Palak Tiwari, and Sunny Singh, among others.
