National Awards: To Winner Neena Gupta, A Message From Mother-To-Be Masaba: “Will Inform My Child NaniJi Is The Coolest”

Neena Gupta won the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Sooraj Barjatya’s  Uunchai. The movie veteran wore a pink saree and teamed it up with a halter neck pink shirt. She accomplished her look with matching flowers in her hair. Neena Gupta’s daughter Masaba, who’s anticipating her first little one, wrote an endearing message for her mother on her massive win. Sharing photos from the ceremony, Masaba wrote, “Will inform my child NaniJi is the good and was profitable National Awards since 1994 with flowers in her hair.” The feedback part was swamped with congratulatory messages. Dia Mirza wrote, “Most superb Naani.” Bhumi Pednekar posted an emoji. Tisca Chopra wrote, “Neenaji is simply love.” Take a glance:

Sharing about how she got the offer for Uunchai, Neena Gupta stated on the pink carpet, “For the final 30 years, I wished to work with Sooraj Barjatya. When he known as me, I could not consider it. I acted with all of the dhurandhar (sensible) actors within the movie. It’s a particular movie.” On being requested the characters she needs to painting on display screen, Neena Gupta replied, “There are 2-3 thousand characters I wish to play.”

Speaking of the National Awards, Rishab Shetty (Best Actor), Nithya Menen and Manasi Parekh (Best Actress), Sooraj Barjatya (Best Director), Neena Gupta (Best Supporting Actress) and Pawan Malhotra (Best Supporting Actor) received massive amongst others. Rishab Shetty received the award for his efficiency in Kantara whereas Nithya and Manashi shared the prize for his or her performances within the movies Tiruchitrabalam and  Kutch Express respectively. Neena Gupta obtained the prize for the movie Uunchai, which additionally introduced Best Director award for Sooraj Barjatya. Pawan Malhotra received the award for Fouji. The Dada Saheb Phalke Award, India’s highest movie honour, went to movie veteran Mithun Chakraborty this 12 months.
