Nawazuddin Siddiqui, in a tweet on Friday, slammed studies claiming that he helps the ban on movies “which damage the viewers or their sentiments.” His tweet arrived after just a few media publications claimed that the actor, in an interview, spoke in favour of the demand for a ban on Sudipto Sen-directed The Kerala Story. Nawazuddin, in his assertion, had not named the movie nor mentioned it in any manner. “Please cease spreading false news simply to get some views and hits, it is referred to as low cost TRP – I by no means stated and I might by no means need any movie to be banned ever. Stop Banning Films. Stop Spreading Fake News!!! (sic),” tweeted the actor this morning.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s precise assertion was in response to Anurag Kashyap’s cryptic tweet: “You agree with the movie or not, be it propaganda, counter-propaganda, offensive or not, to ban it’s simply fallacious.” Though the filmmaker had rigorously prevented naming any particular movie, a bit of the Internet speculated it was about The Kerala Story being banned in just a few states due to its plot.

When requested if he agreed with Anurag Kashyap, Nawazuddin Siddiqui informed News18, “I agree with him. But if a movie or a novel is hurting somebody, then that is fallacious. We do not make movies to harm the viewers or their sentiments… We make movies to foster social concord and love amongst folks. It’s our duty to propagate the identical. Nothing on this world deserves to be banned. But if a movie has the facility to interrupt folks and social concord, it is extraordinarily fallacious. Humein iss duniya ko jodna hai, todna nahi hai (we have now to construct this world, not break it).” He had not made any reference to The Kerala Story. Anurag Kashyap has directed Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Gangs Of Wasseypur movies.
The Kerala Story has prompted a political debate since its launch on May 5. It is a couple of Hindu girl who resides in Kerala. She is trafficked to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) after being transformed to Islam forcefully. The movie stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani within the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s movie Jogira Sara Ra Ra has opened in theatres in the present day. It is directed by Kushan Nandy and stars Neha Sharma reverse him.
