Indian pop icon Usha Uthup’s husband Jani Chacko Uthup died in Kolkata on Monday, their household mentioned. Jani, 78, complained of discomfort whereas watching TV at their residence. He was rushed to a close-by hospital however was declared useless, they mentioned. An enormous cardiac arrest was the set off for the demise, they added.
Jani, the second husband of Usha, was related to the tea plantation sector. They first met on the iconic Trincas within the early ’70s.
Besides Usha, was survived by a son and a daughter.
The final rites will probably be held on Tuesday, the household mentioned.
