One of the best-received movies in 2018 was the criminal drama Raid, starring Ajay Devgn and Ileana D’Cruz. Based on a real-life event, Rajkumar Gupta directed the movie. The filmmakers recently released the first poster for the eagerly anticipated sequel, Raid 2. Vaani Kapoor has reportedly joined the cast of the film.
The casting of Vaani Kapoor in the Ajay Devgn film Raid 2 was recently officially revealed. Ileana D’Cruz, who portrayed Devgn’s romantic interest in the first movie, has been replaced by Kapoor. The movie, which is a sequel to his 2018 crime drama Raid, was directed by Rajkumar Gupta. Devgn posted a photo of himself from the movie’s shoot alongside Vaani and Ravi Teja on his Instagram story. He stated, “Joining the raid…our newest member, Vaani Kapoor, welcome to the team! #Raid2.”
The film Raid 2 is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak, Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar under their banner T-Series and Panorama Studios respectively. On November 15, 2024, the movie will be released on big screens.
