Director Anurag Kashyap’s “Kennedy” is headed to the 76th annual Cannes Film Festival, the organisers introduced on Thursday.
The movie shall be showcased beneath the Midnight Screenings part of the distinguished movie gala.
Film distributor Iris Knobloch and Thierry Fremaux, director of the Cannes Film Festival, made the announcement at a press convention at Cannes.
The Cannes Film Festival (Festival de Cannes) shared the replace on its official Twitter web page.

Anurag Kashyap has been an everyday presence on the Cannes Film Festival.
Previously, his multigenerational gangster cult traditional “Gangs of Wasseypur” (2012) was screened on the 2012 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight, an unbiased number of the Cannes Film Festival.
The anthology movie “Bombay Talkies“, on which Kashyap served as one of many administrators, premiered beneath Special Screenings on the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.
Kashyap’s thriller “Ugly” was screened within the Directors’ Fortnight part on the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, receiving a standing ovation, which he adopted up with neo-noir thriller “Raman Raghav 2.0” which debuted at 2016 Cannes Film Festival within the Director’s Fortnight part.
