Pop singing sensation, Lizzo, has responded to the onslaught of anti-fat feedback she receives every day.
“I JUST logged onto this app and that is the kind of shit I see about me every day,” she began. “It’s actually beginning to make me hate the world.”
Lizzo, who sadly is not any stranger to having to defend herself and her physique, then mentioned, “I’m bored with explaining myself all of the time, and I simply wanna get on this app with out seeing my title in some bullshit.”
Lizzo then responded to a different tweet claiming that the dimensions of her physique is “her model.” Lizzo mentioned, “I’m not attempting to BE fats. I’m not attempting to BE smaller. I’m actually simply attempting to reside and be wholesome.”
“My ‘model’ is FEEL GOOD MUSIC. My ‘model’ is CHAMPIONING ALL PEOPLE. My ‘model’ is BLACK GIRL LIBERATION,” she emphasised.
Lizzo then famous how constantly she has been criticized, it doesn’t matter what she does: “I’ve all the time led [with] my TALENT…But after I dropped ‘Good As Hell,’ feel-good music was ‘corny.'”
“The Love undoubtedly don’t outweigh the Hate on social media…all as a result of I’m fats???? This is CRAZY,” she tweeted.
Lizzo ended with, “Y’all do not know the way shut I be to giving up on everybody and quitting and having fun with my cash and my man on a FUCKING FARM…”
The discourse surrounding Lizzo’s physique appears to by no means come to a halt, as these tweets got here even after Lizzo spoke out about anti-fat feedback throughout her acceptance speech on the 2022 MTV VMAs. “‘Lizzo, why do not you clap again?'” she requested rhetorically. “‘Cuz, bitch, I’m profitable, hoe!”
