Oscars 2023: Everything Wins Everywhere At The Oscars All At Once, 2 Wins For India – All Winners

It was an exhilarating 95th Academy Awards with India’s massive second and a fair larger second for Everything Everywhere All At Once which gained seven Oscars out of the 11 it was nominated for, together with Best Picture and Best Director for the Daniels. The movie’s star Michelle Yeoh created historical past by successful Best Actress – she’s the primary Asian girls to take action, beating the likes of Cate Blanchett who was nominated for her acclaimed flip in Tar. Her co-stars Key Huy Quan, who has swept the awards season, and Jamie Lee Curtis gained Best Supporting Actor and Actress. Everything Everywhere All At Once additionally gained Best Film Editing.

India had an excellent Oscars – Naatu Naatu from RRR won Best Original Song and The Elephant Whisperers gained Best Documentary Short Subject. A 3rd Indian movie, All That Breathes, missed out within the Best Documentary Feature Film class. Naatu Naatu was performed live at the ceremony, with an introduction by Deepika Padukone. Team RRR, together with director SS Rajamouli and actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR, attended the awards.

In a crowd-pleaser, Brendan Fraser gained Best Actor for The Whale. All Quiet On The Western Front gained 4 Oscars.

The Oscars had been held in Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre and had been hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
