What is it about?

The Kerala Story revolves round 4 women Shalini (Adah Sharma), Gitanjali (Siddhi Idnani), Nimah (Yogita Bihani), and Asifa (Sonia Balani). They are all roomates as they’re studing in a nursing college in Kerala. The focus is on Shalini whereas Asifa has a hidden agenda – To get these naive women transformed to Islam. They are then compelled to hitch ISIS and it’s a traumatic journey since then. The movie has Shalini narrating the backstory of how and why she was radicalised and what she went by means of. What’s scorching?

It is a really delicate subject that must be dealt with with care. Director Sudipto Sen has bought his intent proper.
