The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from July 5 to August 5.
Yoo Jae Suk continued his reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 2,543,403 for August. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “PLAYou,” “win the lottery,” and “Just an Excuse,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “donate,” “talk,” and “diligent.” The star’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.28 percent positive reactions.
Meanwhile, Tak Jae Hoon held onto his spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 1,989,643.
Kim Jong Kook similarly maintained his position at third place with a brand reputation index of 1,810,117, marking a 13.04 percent increase in score since July.
Lee Chun Soo shot to fourth place after seeing a whopping 181.09 percent increase in his brand reputation index since last month, bringing his total score for August to 1,451,215.
Finally, Park Myung Soo rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 1,330,354.
