BLACKPINK Sets New Historical Record By Surpassing 90 Million YouTube Subscribers

-

BLACKPINK continues to make history on YouTube!

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK surpassed 90 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel on July 17 at 5:36 a.m. KST. This is a record achieved in about seven years and one month since the channel’s launch in June 2016.

In July 2020, BLACKPINK became the first non-English language artist to be listed in the top five in terms of YouTube subscribers. In just a little over one year in September 2021, BLACKPINK was ranked as the No. 1 artist with the most subscribers on YouTube worldwide.

BLACKPINK, who surpassed 80 million subscribers on their official YouTube channel in September last year, added another 10 million subscribers in less than a year, setting a new record by reaching the milestone for the first time in YouTube history.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their historic achievement!
