BTS’s Jimin has made historical past on the United Kingdom’s Official Singles Chart!
On May 26 native time, the Official Charts (sometimes considered the U.Ok. equal to Billboard’s U.S. charts) revealed that “Angel Pt. 1,” BTS’s Jimin’s new collaboration with NLE Choppa, Kodak Black, JVKE, and Muni Long for the “FAST X” soundtrack, had debuted at No. 82 on its Official Singles Chart.
“Angel Pt. 1” is Jimin’s fourth solo track to enter the Official Singles Chart, setting a brand new file for probably the most chart entries of any Korean soloist in historical past. (The earlier file was a three-way tie between PSY, BTS’s J-Hope, and BTS’ Suga, all of whom have three solo chart entries up to now.)
Jimin beforehand entered the chart with “VIBE“—his hit collab with BIGBANG’s Taeyang—and his solo tracks “Set Me Free Pt.2” and “Like Crazy,” the latter of which made him the first Korean soloist ever to debut within the prime 10.
“Angel Pt. 1” additionally debuted at No. 3 on each the Official Singles Sales chart and the Official Singles Downloads Chart this week.
