On July 16. KST, BTS‘s RM surprised fans with a sudden Weverse livestream after almost three months to give a brief life update.
He immediately addressed the speculations about his cropped hair, telling ARMYs that he cut his hair not because he was enlisting soon but simply due to the hot weather. Though his friend and musician eAeon had already relayed this message before, it was reassuring for fans to hear it directly from RM.

While talking about his daily life, RM mentioned that he spends his days working out, making music in his studio, and drinking with friends at night.
The BTS leader then started talking about his members, praising Jungkook‘s solo single “Seven,” saying that he got inspired by his music. He also mentioned meeting V recently. Though V works out at a different gym, he and RM met a day ago and worked out together.

Since BTS announced their temporary break from group activities in June 2022, ARMYs have had very few opportunities to see the seven of them together. With Jin and J-Hope already in the military, the best they could hope for now is a reunion of the remaining five members, who have been very busy with their solo careers lately.
RM revealed that all the members are frequently in touch through their group chat, and the five of them who are yet to enlist plan to meet soon!

RM also mentioned that he has been spending time making new music and that the process so far has been very different from his previous projects. He then spoiled the vibe of his upcoming releases a little, saying that his new music will be completely opposite of his last album, Indigo.
