Cha Tae Hyun Becomes A Bus Driver Who Puts His Superheroic Past Behind Him In Upcoming Drama “Moving”

-

Upcoming Disney+ series “Moving” has dropped new stills featuring Cha Tae Hyun!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Moving” is a new superhero action drama about teenagers with hidden superhuman powers and their parents who, unbeknownst to them, harbor a painful secret from their past. They eventually team up to battle powerful dark forces that threaten multiple generations across different eras.

Cha Tae Hyun will play Jeon Kye Do, who can create electricity at will. When he was younger, Jeon Kye Do used his power and became the superhero character “Lightning Man” on broadcasts, gaining great popularity from viewers. However, Kye Do blames himself, thinking that his supernatural abilities do more harm than help people. Over a series of events, Kye Do decides to put an end to his activities as “Lightning Man” and looks back on his life.

Around the time when Kye Do’s internal conflict intensifies due to his mother’s absence, he gets a new job as a city bus driver by chance and starts a new life.

Cha Tae Hyun explained that Jeon Kye Do is a character that many people can relate to, saying, “In a way, [Jeon Kye Do] is a type of character that can be commonly seen around us, who has no choice but to live a reserved life and whose plans don’t work out well even if he has something that he wants to do.”

The first seven episodes of “Moving” will be released together on August 9, after which two new episodes will be released each week for a total of 20 episodes. Check out the latest teaser here!
