“They don’t seem moved at all…”
A past FIFTY FIFTY interview, in which the members seemingly make light of ATTRAKT CEO’s investment, has resurfaced.
The interview was from the group’s appearance on an SBS radio show this past April.
In the interview, the show’s host asked the members how they felt when they learned “Cupid” first made it on Billboard’s Hot 100 Chart. The members responded by stating they first heard the news from “Cupid” producer Ahn Sung Il.
To be honest, when we made it on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, we first heard the news from SIAHN (The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il), who was in America for business.

The show’s host then asked the members about reports stating that their label’s CEO had sold his car to fund the group. The members seemed taken aback at the question before admitting it was the first time they had heard this.
Ah, he really cared for us to that extent. To be honest, this is something that we didn’t know.

The host then joked, “Maybe it was time for him to replace his car,” to which the members agreed, saying, “Yes, that’s right! It was time to replace his car.”
The video has since gone viral, with many criticizing the members for being ungrateful to their CEO.
- “I think they said they were ill to lower the contract termination fee and stop earning for ATTRAKT… I think this was planned for months. They are the biggest backstabbers in Korean entertainment history.”
- “Are they dumb or just cocky? Or are they both? Seriously… They shouldn’t be able to succeed.”
- “What do you mean they don’t know who their CEO is? LOL. If they didn’t know, how did they sue him? LOL.”
- “They don’t seem moved at all when they heard the CEO had sold his car. Rather than saying thank you, they seemed uncomfortable, LOL. I think they had already made up their mind to leave.”
- “Their greed is bigger than their popularity.”
- “Did they think their agency CEO was someone who merely gave them money? Rather than respecting the CEO, I think they gaslighted themselves into believing the CEO didn’t do anything.”
- “It’s as if a child, whose parents worked overtime to send them to a prep school, one day tells their parents they wanted to be their teacher’s child, LOL.”
- “To be honest, this is really upsetting. Imagine if you were the one who made the investment, but some other person acted like the owner, and the members were in cahoots with that person. This is a betrayal of the deepest level.”
Meanwhile, Dispatch released an article exposing the truth behind the group’s label saga and releasing evidence that contradicts FIFTY FIFTY and Ahn Sung Il’s claims about ATTRAKT’s CEO. Read more about it in the link below.
