Kim Hieora Transforms Into An Eccentric Pure Evil Villain In “The Uncanny Counter 2”

-

tvN’s upcoming drama “The Uncanny Counter 2” has released the first stills of Kim Hieora!

Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “The Uncanny Counter” is a superhero drama starring Jo Byeong Gyu, Kim Sejeong, Yoo Joon Sang, and Yeom Hye Ran as demon hunters with supernatural powers. Two and a half years after the first season’s successful run, the drama is returning with its long-awaited second season with new evils including Pil Gwang (Kang Ki Young), Gelly (Kim Hieora), and Wing (Kim Hyun Wook).

In the newly released stills, Kim Hieora makes a significant transformation into Gelly, a character of pure evil who enjoys murder without any reason. From her short blonde haircut to her striking outfit and dramatic eye patch, Kim Hieora embodies her new villain role with immense hostility in her gaze. Fully representing Gelly’s free-spirited and somewhat “hip” personality, expectations are high to see how Kim Hieora would showcase a different performance than her previous villain role as Lee Sa Ra in “The Glory.”

Sending high praise for Kim Hieora’s performance, the production team teased, “Kim Hieora has outdone herself spectacularly. Kim Hieora’s acting spectrum that she will showcase in the series as the pure evil who is unafraid to scratch, stab, cut, and kill is incredibly wide. In every scene where Kim Hieora appears, you’ll be holding your breath.”

“The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch” will premiere on July 29 at 9:20 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
