Koreans React To ENHYPEN’s First “Bite Me” Performance Without The Female Dancers

-

Many of them shared the same opinion.

With the release of “Bite Me”, ENHYPEN caused a stir by adding female dancers to bring the performance to life. While international fans were a fan of the refreshing change, Korean fans soon changed their opinion by boycotting the stages in an attempt to get the female dancers removed.

To everyone’s surprise, ENHYPEN recently performed “Bite Me” without female dancers for the first time. Korean netizens shared their thoughts on seeing the new choreography during the group’s stage for the Japanese platform ONGAKUNOHI.

Many Korean netizens voiced the same viewpoint of the choreography looking “so much better” without the female dancers because it centers attention on the “members’ physiques.

  • 115. Oh, I heard about how the pair dance was a huge issue. The song’s great, though. And the members are good-looking AF.
  • 116. Isn’t this so much better?! I’m not even an ENHYPEN fan, but… This is such a good choreography. It shows off the members’ physiques well.
  • 117. Go ENHYPEN!
  • 118. SIGH. I can’t believe it took so long to remove that part.
  • 119. It finally looks like an ENHYPEN performance. Before, with the pair dance, it reminded me more of TROUBLE MAKER.
  • 120. This is so much better.

Others revealed that they’d become fans through the “pair dance controversy” and were satisfied that the new choreography “works a lot better.

  • 170. This is a lot better. Why did the members and the dancers have to go through any of that in the first place…? I’m not a huge K-Pop fan, to begin with, but even I can tell this works a lot better.
  • 171. I only heard about ENHYPEN because of the pair dance controversy… and I’ve seen their previous performances. I think not having the dancers makes the choreo a lot cleaner.
  • 172. This is so much better… I hope they also work on the part where the singing member is on the ground.
  • 173. I first looked them up because of the pair dance issue. And I liked the song and the choreography. But, TBH, the dancers did make the whole thing seem a bit crowded.
  • 174. It’s a lot better without the dancers. That being said, I got to know ENHYPEN through the whole controversy. And I’m glad, because the song’s really good, and the members are really hot.
  • 175. FINALLY! Haha. They should’ve done this right away. Like, how come they didn’t want to listen to the feedback while promoting in Korea?

Since the group is preparing to go on their FATE world tour, the change could be in preparation for the concerts.
