JTBC’s “King the Land” has shared a sneak peek of the impromptu “hearing” that will take place on its next episode!
“King the Land” is a romantic comedy about the unlikely love story between Gu Won (Lee Junho), a chaebol heir who can’t stand fake smiles, and the constantly smiling Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA), who becomes known as the “queen of smiles” while working her way up at the King Hotel.

At the end of the previous episode of “King the Land,” Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang were enjoying a romantic moment at home when they were unexpectedly walked in on by not only her friends Oh Pyung Hwa (Go Won Hee) and Kang Da Eul (Kim Ga Eun), but also Lee Ro Woon (Kim Jae Won) and Noh Sang Sik (Ahn Se Ha).
After getting caught dating in secret, Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang—who had been carefully hiding their relationship up until that moment—wind up undergoing an intense interrogation.
In newly released stills from the drama’s upcoming episode, the couple sits on the ground as a stern Kang Da Eul and Oh Pyung Hwa throw question after question at them, leaving no stone unturned as they carefully pick apart the details of their relationship.
Because Cheon Sa Rang, Kang Da Eul, and Oh Pyung Hwa have never kept secrets from one another, the betrayal the two friends feel is palpable as they relentlessly question Cheon Sa Rang about the romance she’d been hiding from them.
However, as a result of this “secret relationship hearing” and the relentless flood of questions that Gu Won and Cheon Sa Rang must answer, Oh Pyung Hwa, Kang Da Eul, and Lee Ro Woon end up learning an unexpected truth that sends them into a panic.
Meanwhile, Noh Sang Sik—who had previously deceived them all—looks nervous as he sits alone in visible discomfort.
