Lee Soo Man Sets Up A New Office — Will He Be Making A Comeback To The Industry?

-

Will he re-enter the music industry?

It was reported by Korean media on June 27, 2023, that Lee Soo Man has set up a personal office and is experimenting with new roles that he can take on.

According to industry insiders, the former CEO and founder of SM Entertainment obtained his own personal headquarters in the affluent area of Cheongdam. Although the business’ name has not yet been made public, the company is a separate entity from his previous businesses. Lee Soo Man has set up various businesses in new technology, including personal real estate company Blooming Grace, drone company LeePollux, and a music publishing company, Culture Technology Group Asia.

It was said that although he has been meeting up with people after setting up his new offices, he did not divulge information on the upcoming business.

Due to the contract clauses laid down after he sold his SM Entertainment shares previously, it remains a question if he will be re-entering the music industry. While the clause bans him from doing so domestically for three years, he is still able to work on production for music overseas.
