On May 27, South Korean police arrested a person in his thirties on suspicion of opening the aircraft’s door. During questioning, the person advised officers he opened the emergency exit as a result of “he felt suffocated and wished to get off the plane rapidly,” reported Yonhap.
The man advised police he’d “been below lots of stress after shedding his job just lately.” After additional questioning, police try to cost him with violating the aviation safety regulation.
