Netizens React To Dispatch Report Alleging “Cupid” Producer Stole FIFTY FIFTY Member’s Copyright

-

The “Cupid” producer is alleged to have stolen almost all of Keena’s copyrights on the song.

Korean netizens reacted to Dispatch‘s most recent article exposing Ahn Sung Il‘s alleged crimes.

On July 17, Dispatch released its follow-up report regarding The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il.

Dispatch Reveals Ahn Sung Il Forged Signatures Of “Cupid’s” Songwriters To Transfer The Copyright To Himself

In the report, Dispatch makes several allegations, including claiming that Ahn Sung Il stole the copyrights to “Cupid” from the song’s original Swedish composers, as well as FIFTY FIFTY member Keena by forging their signatures.

In March 2023, Ahn Sung Il submitted a document for the change in the distribution of copyrights for “Cupid,” moving 74.5% of the distribution from the three Swedish composers to himself. He also reduced Keena‘s songwriting distribution from 6.5% to 0.5%.

The revelation is shocking as it is believed that if FIFTY FIFTY members are successful in terminating their contract with ATTRAKT, they will sign with The Givers. It is also contradictory to Ahn Sung Il’s previous claims stating he was the one looking out for the group members.

Korean netizens reacted to the irony and continued to criticize the members and the producer.

  • “Wow.”
  • “Do you think they want to admit that they were fooled? Even their parents trust this guy, I doubt that Keena realizing this will change anything.”
  • “Wow.”
  • “Seeing how they are staying the course despite the evidence, they must be really greedy. No matter how you look at him, Ahn Sung Il is a fraudster.”
  • “LOL. Tsk, Tsk.”
  • “Wow…”

  • “Ahn Sung Il might be telling them that he had the copyrights, so no one can take it from them.”
  • “At this point, it seems Ahn Sung Il tried to take everything for himself but got exposed because the song blew up.”
  • “I feel bad for the foreign producers… If they were credited, it could have led to more opportunities.”
