MAMAMOO’s Hwasa’s new agency P NATION has officially responded to recent rumors about her love life.
On June 30, Korean news outlet Sports Seoul reported that Hwasa is currently dating an entrepreneur 12 years her senior who used to work in the music industry. The report also claimed that the two have been in a relationship for the past five years.
Later that day, Hwasa signed an exclusive contract with P NATION on stage at PSY’s concert after leaving her longtime agency RBW.
Two days later, on July 2, P NATION made an official statement regarding the rumors about Hwasa.
“Regarding the recent dating rumors, because they are about the artist’s personal life, it is difficult for us to confirm whether they are true,” said the agency. “We ask for your understanding. We apologize.”
