As the daughter of actor Peggy Lipton and legendary music producer Quincy Jones, Parks and Recreation‘s Rashida Jones had a fairly star-studded childhood.
“I knew these individuals first as individuals after which was, like, Oh, that’s fascinating. They’re a completely totally different factor exterior of this room,” Rashida defined to the New Yorker. “It took me years and years to essentially perceive how well-known these individuals have been.”
The star was then requested about Michael particularly, prompting Rashida to recall a fairly unimaginable childhood story involving Michael’s pet chimpanzee, Bubbles.
“[Michael] was like a giant child with a lot of animals,” Rashida mentioned, with the publication including that she sighed at this level within the dialog. “Sorry, I used to be simply sighing, as a result of I used to be simply eager about how I used to be bit by his monkey.”
“It was my fault,” Rashida continued. “Well, no, it’s not my fault. I’m not the one who put a chimpanzee in overalls and a diaper. But I did antagonize him. I used to be 9. He was in a cage, and he took my hairband out of my hand.”
Elsewhere in her interview, Rashida recalled visiting the set of the “Thriller” music video in Griffith Park, Los Angeles, and acknowledged that the track “modified the whole lot” for her father.
