SATURDAY’s Haneul has left the group after five years.
On July 18, SATURDAY officially announced that Haneul was leaving due to “personal circumstances” and that the group would be moving forward with the remaining four members.
While SATURDAY has undergone more than one change to their member lineup following their debut in 2018, Haneul—together with Yuki and Ayeon—was one of the few remaining members from the original lineup.
The group’s full announcement is as follows:
Hello, this is the [manager] in charge of SATURDAY.
Member Haneul is leaving the group due to personal circumstances, and SATURDAY will be promoting as a four-member group consisting of Juyeon, Yuki, Ayeon, and Minseo.
We apologize to the fans who feel upset about this disappointing news, and as we worked hard on SATURDAY’s new album that will be released soon, we ask that you give it lots of support and love.
We will release more detailed information about [Haneul’s] departure at a later time.

That same day, SATURDAY went on to announce that they would be making their first comeback in over two years. The girl group will be returning with their sixth single album “Find Summer” on July 25.
