The newest record-breaking feat has seemingly set the stage for RIIZE’s meteoric rise.

South Korea’s titanic entertainment company, SM Entertainment, is back with a brand-new boy group set to storm the K-Pop industry. Introducing RIIZE, a seven-member group whose name speaks volumes of their shared dream — a team that grows together, realizes dreams, and rises to the top. And they’re already setting new standards!

The group’s intriguing novel name, revealed on July 31, is a clever blend of “RISE” and “REALIZE.” Each member, selected with precision, brings to the table a unique individuality and talent. The collective strength of the group members fortifies RIIZE’s identity as a “real-time odyssey” that is committed to creating new milestones in the history of K-Pop.

The newest record-breaking feat has seemingly set the stage for RIIZE’s meteoric rise. The boy band has hit the ground running by shattering an impressive Instagram record and making it their own.

SM’s new maknae was catapulted to instant fame by becoming the fastest idol group to gain 1 million followers on Instagram. And they only needed less than four days to do it.

The earlier record was held by ZEROBASEONE, who achieved the milestone in six days just earlier this summer — which is proof of the intense competition between K-Pop acts. Even before their debut, RIIZE has shown they are a force to reckon with, setting a blistering pace that others will find challenging to match.

Among the announced members are the known talents — Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, and Seunghan. Notably, Shotaro and Sungchan are known for their work with NCT and its popular sub-unit, NCT U.

Joining them is the prodigious Lee Chanyoung, aka Anton, son of the respected composer and singer Yoon Sang. Anton’s inclusion confirms the swirling rumors about his place in the group.

The ensemble is made complete by the debut of the previously unheralded members, Wonbin and Sohee. Their profiles, released on August 1, were highly anticipated by fans and didn’t disappoint. The members exhibit exceptional skills in vocals, performances, musical instrumentations and compositions, and offer a visual feast for the audience.

Their debut is slated for September 2023, and if the early signs are any indication, RIIZE is poised to bring about a seismic shift in the K-pop landscape. As fans eagerly await their debut, one thing is certain: this promising group’s journey to the top is destined to be as remarkable as their name suggests.
