Actress Sreejita De, who became a household name after appearing as a contestant in Bigg Boss 16, is now married. On Sunday, the actress shared pictures from her wedding to long-term boyfriend Michael Blohm-Pape inside a beautiful chapel in Germany. In the pictures, the Sreejita looked beautiful in a white off shoulder dress while her husband Michael Blohm-Pape complemented her in a black suit. In another picture, we can see the couple seal their union with a kiss. Sharing the post, Sreejita wrote, “Today we celebrate the beginning of forever, hand in hand.”
Sreejita’s post received big love from her friends and former co-contestants from Bigg Boss. Sumbul Touqueer, Devoleena and many others dropped congratulatory wishes under the post. Shiv Thakare wrote, “Congratulations.” Archana Gautam wrote, “Congratulations yara.” Actor Narayani Shastri commented, “Congratulations my love.”

Prior to her wedding, Sreejita spoke to Hindustan Times about her marriage ceremony. She disclosed that the wedding in Hamburg will be held on July 1 and in October end, Sreejita and her family will organize the rituals in India.
She was quoted telling Hindustan Times, ““My idea was always to have an intimate, close-knit wedding. The wedding in Hamburg will be held on July 1 whereas in October end, we will organize the rituals in India, and of course, with a long list of ceremonies. My sasural people are way too excited for the Indian wedding function as they want to be part of all the rituals including haldi, mehendi. I am tired of explaining the purpose of all the ceremonies.”
Sreejita De was one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 16, which saw Indian rapper MC Stan as the winner of the season. While inside the Bigg Boss house, her husband Michael visited her in the family week. Sreejita De has been part of shows like Uttaran, Nazar, Kasautii Zindagi Kay among others.
