According to Deadline, Apple TV+ has officially enlisted eight new series regulars to join the Foundation Season 3 cast, including Game of Thrones vet Pilou Asbæk.
Joining the next installment of the hit sci-fi drama are Cherry Jones as Foundation Ambassador Quent, Cody Fern as Toran Mallow, Synnøve Karlsen as Bayta Mallow, Brandon P. Bell as Han Pritcher, Tómas Lemarquis as Magnifico Giganticus, Yootha Wong-Loi-Sing as Song and Leo Bill as Mayor Indbur. As for Asbæk, he has been cast to portray the character of Warlord.
What is Foundation about?
“The series chronicles the stories of four crucial individuals transcending space and time as they overcome deadly crises, shifting loyalties, and complicated relationships that will ultimately determine the fate of humanity,” reads the logline.
Apple TV+’s Foundation hails from creator and executive producer David S. Goyer, who is also serving as showrunner. It stars Jared Harris, Lee Pace, Lou Llobell, Leah Harvey, Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton, and Alfred Enoch. Season 2 also featured Holt McCallany, Ben Daniels, Rachel House, Isabella Laughland, Mikael Persbrandt, Kulvinder Ghir, Sandra Yi Sencindiver, Ella-Rae Smith, Dimitri Leonidas, and Nimrat Kaur. It is executive produced by Robyn Asimov, Josh Friedman, Cameron Welsh, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Bill Bost. It is a co-production between Apple Studios and Skydance Television.
