While spending two weeks in the Bigg Boss home following her nomination, Akanksha Puri is evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted reality television show Bigg Boss OTT season 2. She was nominated because she violated a crucial house rule by discussing nominations with Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan. Therefore, Akanksha, Jiya and Abhishek were nominated by Bigg Boss as candidates for elimination.
Salman Khan offered an intriguing task in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode wherein the three nominees had to choose one person to be eliminated from the competition. The task’s surprise was that because the discussion was time-limited, the facilities utilized by the housemates would be taken over time.
Therefore, Akanksha and Abhishek decided that Jiya should leave the house. They claim Jiya Shankar can’t play the game alone and requires a companion to survive in the house. They made a decision that didn’t match the viewer’s choice, and Akanksha was kicked out of the Bigg Boss house.
Puneet Superstar, Palak Purswani, Aaliya Siddiqui, and Akanksha Puri are the competitors who were eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 2. The nine candidates who are now inside the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house are Bebika Dhurve, Manisha Rani, Avinash Sachdev, Jiya Shankar, Jad Hadid, Falaq Naazz, Cyrus Broacha, Abhishek Malhan, and Pooja Bhatt.
