Actress Alia Bhatt debuts on the Met Gala, one of many world’s most prestigious vogue occasions, hosted in New York City to mark the beginning of the Costume Institute exhibition “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
Sharing the images of her debut on social media, Alia wrote, “Met Gala — Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty – I’ve at all times been fascinated by the long-lasting Chanel brides. Season after season, the genius of Karl Lagerfeld shone by in probably the most modern and awe-inspiring couture. My look tonight was impressed by this, notably by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal look.”
“I wished to do one thing that felt genuine (hiya, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with 100,000 pearls, is a labour of affection by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to put on you for my first Met.”
